Clicks is on the hunt for a Demand Planner. To ensure excellent customer availability from a highly efficient stock base by ensuring accurate demand forecasting and replenishment. Required to work collaboratively with Planning and other relevant functions to capture relevant business input.
To perform analysis, recommend parameter adjustments, and review the statistical forecast in order to increase forecasting accuracy to optimise purchases and store replenishment.
To conduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensure forecasting processes and methods are followed and continuously improve forecasting techniques and methods.
To regularly review performance indicators, such as promotional forecasting, sales, inventory, operations and planning, keeping the business updated on financial performance versus plan.
To prepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets etc).
To analyse shifts in SKU and/or store and DC availability and stock trends and communicate recommendations to relevant business function.
To ensure overall availability is maintained to the agreed targets using push replenishment or other relevant methodologies.
To manage policy to maintain business KPI’s.
To provide user support and training.
Job Related Knowledge
Expert in Demand forecasting and replenishment
Good understanding of Planning processes in Retail
Fundamental understanding of merchandise planning principals and experience with financial applications such as Arthur, Enterprise Planning, Oracle, MRP etc.

Merchandise planning acumen
2-5 years in FMCG retail or other related working environments as a Planner
Minimum 2-3 years demand or merchandise planning experience
Experience on the JDA system
